Piero Bassetti
Graduated in Economics from Bocconi University, in Milan, Piero Bassetti subsequently attended courses of specialization at Cornell University and London School of Economics. He was the first President of the Lombardy Region, member of Parliament, President of Milan Chamber of Commerce and President of the Association of Chambers of Commerce Abroad (CCIE). Mr Bassetti has written several books, among which: “Italics” (New York 2009) ”Globals and locals!” (Milan 2001), “Milanese without Milan” (Milan 1999), “Italy is broken” (Rome-Bari 1996), “Uncomfortable west” (Florence 1978), and “The reigns of power” (Milan 1959) written with Giacomo Corna Pellegrini. Currently he is President of Globus et Locus Association and President of the Giannino Bassetti Foundation.
