After graduating in Milan in education, she became City Councillor in Tortona and group leader of the socialist party (1980-1995) and then Administration Manager of the Province of Alessandria. She moved to work for the Regional Council of Piedmont initially as Manager of the Institutional Affairs Service and later as Head of the President’s Cabinet. She was then Director of the Regional Museum of Natural Sciences, Director of the Piedmont Region President’s Cabinet and Secretary General of the CRT Foundation . Mrs Leddi is also Vice-President of the Società Expo Piemonte and Professor of Administration Sciences at the Faculty of Political Sciences of Turin University. Presently Member of the Italian Senate, she is Secretary of its Finance and Treasury Commission and of its Anti-mafia Commission.
