Professor of Philosophy at the University of Murcia and Visiting Professor in many European and American Universities. He is founding member of the Grupo Tanger, Coordinator of the Observatory of Trend Analysis of the Fundación M. Botín and Director of the Foro de la Mundialización. He was Vice-President of the Patronato del Museo Nacional de Arte Reina Sofía (Madrid) and actually is member of the Board of Advisors of IVAM (Valencia), PAN (Naples) and CAAC (Seville). He is member of the Scientific Committee of the Scuola Internazionale di Alti Studi Scienze della Cultura (Modena) and of the Fundación M. Botín. He is also member of the Editing Committees of “Iride”, “Experimenta”, “Microfisuras” and others. He is the Director of the collection “Arquilectura”. Among his numerous publications: “Teorías para una nueva sociedad” (2002), “Desafíos de la Mundialización” (2002), “Nueva economía. Nueva sociedad” (2003), “Después del 11 de Septiembre” (2003), “Gobernar la Globalización” (2004).
