He took a degree in Political Sciences at University of Turin and received a  doctorate-degree on History of political ideas and political institutions. Corrado Malandrino is Scientific consultant of “Luigi Einaudi” Foundation (Turin); writer on current public scientific topics and member of the editorial staff of the review “Il Pensiero politico”. He is member of the ISRAL (Institute for the Contemporary History in Alessandria) and of the Consulta europea of the Consiglio regionale del Piemonte. He also is Board member of the Fondazione “Luigi Firpo” of Turin, of the Johannes Althusius-Gesellschaft and of the Einaudi Foundation (Rome). Corrado Malandrino actually is Professor of History of political ideas and political institutions in the Faculty of Political Sciences of the University “A. Avogadro” of “Piemonte Orientale”Alessandria. Since  2002 he is J. Monnet Chair of the “History of the European Integration” and since 2003 Member of the academic Senate. In 2005 he became Dean of the Faculty of Political Sciences.
