The World Political Forum took part in the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change in Denmark to submit to the attention of the participants the Memorandum for a World Water Protocol which has been elaborated by the international conference «Peace with Water», held in February 2009 in collaboration with the European Parliament Groups.

Twenty years after the fall of the Berlin Wall and the popular revolutions which have transformed the political landscape in Eastern Europe, this event provided an occasion to reflect on the sources and driving forces of these historic changes.
