Turin, Turin International Book Fair
The round table open to the public, “Borders: Europe and Turkey” was jointly organized by the World Political Forum and the Turin International Book Fair on Sunday 13 May 2007, within the frame of the 20th edition of the Turin International Book Fair.
The event offered the ground for a complex exchange of points of view, both between the single speakers and with the very participating public. The discussion focused in particular on the opportunity of Turkey’s entrance in the EU and on the negotiations under way to this purpose, but also on the various possibilities of cultural and economic partnership between the two subjects, already positively started and in further development.
