1989: Year of the political Earthquake in Europe

The Regional Council of Piedmont and the World Political Forum organized in Turin a public discussion on the theme: “1989 - Year of the political Earthquake in Europe“.
20 years after the fall of the Berlin Wall and the popular revolutions which have transformed the political landscape in Eastern Europe, this event provided an occasion to reflect on the sources and driving forces of these historic changes as well as about the way in which they have marked the image of the new integrated and enlarged Europe.
